About the team

A small and effective team, a well oiled machine of 7, that includes; 3 Backend Developers 2 Fullstack Developers 1 Frontend Developer 1 UX/UI Designer

Assignment description

In this role, you will focus on software quality assurance and contributing to a robust test strategy. This role is essential in building automated and manual testing strategies to support a fast-paced, evolving startup environment. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure the stability, usability, and reliability of the platform. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic settings, where requirements are flexible and rapid iteration is the norm. 

Test Execution:

* Develop and execute both manual and automated tests to ensure software quality.

* Implement and maintain automated end-to-end (E2E) UI testing suites using Playwright and other test tools.

* Perform exploratory testing as needed throughout the development cycle.

* Ensure platform stability by integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines.  Test Strategy & Collaboration:

* Develop a scalable testing strategy that supports rapid product innovation.

* Collaborate with backend, frontend, and full-stack developers to improve test coverage and ensure high-quality releases.

* Provide input on testability of new features and establish a quality-first mindset across the development team.

* Work closely with product managers to define test scenarios that align with user expectations.

Must haves

* 5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in startup environments.

* Proficiency with modern test automation frameworks (Playwright preferred).

* Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

* Ability to work independently in an agile, fast-changing environment.

* Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to ensuring product reliability.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of working with a highly collaborative development team.

* Comfortable handling ambiguous or evolving product requirements, adapting the QA strategy in response to changes.

* Familiarity with multi-tenant platform testing.

* Basic knowledge of AI-driven testing automation or analytics-based QA processes.
