Assignment description
Our customer builds next-generation math learning products for home and school environments, targeting learners aged 7–12. By combining AI technology and learner data signals, they create adaptive, personalized study flows that ensure real learning outcomes across B2C and prospective B2B channels.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will own the end-to-end testing strategy for an adaptive learning platform.
You will balance hands-on automation and exploratory testing with high-level strategy, driving the use of AI tools to elevate testing standards.

– Build and maintain E2E tests covering real user flows across home and school applications.
– Establish testing strategy, standards, and coverage expectations for developer-written unit/component tests within an AI-assisted development workflow.
– Execute manual and exploratory testing on complex product logic, edge cases, and learner-facing behavior.
– Leverage AI tools to generate, expand, and maintain test suites efficiently.
– Validate learner data pipelines to ensure adaptive study flows function accurately.
– Build a rigorous review process for code and features produced by AI coding agents.
– Collaborate with learning scientists and pedagogical leads to catch subtle educational logic errors.

About the team
You will be embedded directly into a small, fast-moving product team with a flat structure and no management overhead.
QA is fully integrated into the daily build process rather than added at the end, working alongside developers actively using AI coding agents.

Must haves
– Extensive QA experience covering test strategy, automated E2E testing, and exploratory testing.
– Track record of setting testing standards and strategy for developers and product teams.
– Hands-on experience critically reviewing AI-generated output and code.
– Practical Python skills for running data validation tasks.

– High attention to detail and strong self-direction within a flat, autonomous environment.
– Curiosity and hands-on interest in applying AI to automated test generation.
– Strong communication skills to collaborate with non-technical domain experts (e.g., learning scientists).

– Prior experience or exposure to EdTech, assessment tools, or adaptive learning products.
