Project Manager
Assignment description
You will step in as Web Team Lead / Coordinator for our Customers’ web team during a parental leave, with an ideal start as soon as possible to shadow the current lead and ensure a smooth handover.
The assignment is expected to run approximately 4–6 months, roughly until May/June 2026.
Your focus is to keep our Customers’ web initiatives moving: coordinating a small cross-functional team, maintaining the backlog, and ensuring alignment with Marketing and Growth.
Around 60–70% of the team’s work is marketing and conversion-related (landing pages, funnels, subscriptions, paywalls) and the rest is our parental portal and subscription management dashboards.
You will:
– Coordinate and prioritize the team’s day-to-day work: features, campaigns, content, and releases.
– Own and maintain the web backlog, ensuring that priorities are clear and delivery is smooth.
– Co-drive Marketing and Growth forums: prepare agendas, follow up on actions, and ensure execution.
– Work with data: read and interpret web metrics, evaluate A/B tests, and support decisions with numbers (without being a data scientist).
– Be the main point of coordination between developers, designers, marketing and other stakeholders.
– Work in a small, agile organisation with low redundancy – your impact and ownership will be tangible.
– The culture values attitude and collaboration over heavy processes and credentials – energy, responsibility and a positive mindset matter more than long lists of certifications.
About the team
You will lead and coordinate a small, focused web team of around three people:
– A frontend-oriented JavaScript developer (remote, currently based in Moldova).
– A backend/enabler profile in Sweden who supports web projects (CMS, payments, integrations) and also works partly on apps and payment backend.
– Yourself as coordinator / team lead, working closely with Marketing, Growth and product stakeholders.
The team is fully remote and used to collaborating across borders and cultures.
The broader organisation is international with a healthy mix of nationalities and a strong representation of female leaders.
Must haves
– Very strong technical understanding of modern web stacks (e.g. React / Next.js, APIs, CMS, CI/CD).
– Proven experience coordinating or leading web projects/teams – you know how to drive a backlog, structure work and ship continuously.
– Experience from B2C / marketing-heavy environments (landing pages, funnels, subscriptions, paywalls, conversion optimisation).
– Solid understanding of web analytics and A/B testing; you can read the numbers and help decide when to stop or scale experiments.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills – you bring clarity, energy and structure, and are comfortable leading ceremonies and syncs.
– Great English, both spoken and written; you need to comfortably facilitate meetings and align stakeholders in English.
GREAT PLUS:
– Background in web development.
– Hands-on ability to jump into smaller technical tasks (e.g. minor frontend tweaks, simple PR reviews) when needed, though this is not the main focus.
– Prior experience in ed-tech or subscription-based digital products.
– Comfortable working in a light, Kanban-ish process with quarterly OKRs and minimal bureaucracy.
Other requirements
– Communication & Stakeholder Management: Clear, confident communicator who can translate between tech, marketing and business and ensure everyone leaves meetings aligned.
– Proactive Ownership & Drive: Takes initiative, drives work forward independently and follows up without being asked.
– Structure & Prioritization: Able to bring structure in a lightweight way, keep a clean backlog and make pragmatic priority calls.
– Collaboration & Relationship Building: Builds trust quickly and works smoothly with developers, designers, marketing and leadership.
– Positive, Solution-Oriented Mindset: Stays constructive when things change and focuses on solutions rather than problems.
– Clarity Under Uncertainty: Comfortable deciding and moving forward with incomplete information, then adjusting as new data arrives.
– Analytical Thinking: Uses data and experiment results to support decisions without overcomplicating things.
– Facilitation & Meeting Leadership: Can lead efficient, focused meetings with clear agendas, owners and next steps.
– Cultural Sensitivity & Remote Collaboration: Thrives in a remote, international environment and adapts communication to different cultures and time zones.
– Resilience & Calmness: Remains calm under pressure and helps the team keep focus when priorities shift.
